Growing Cut Flowers for your Home with Cindy Creps of Meadow Ridge Flower Farm in Hebron, Maine.
Cindy will discuss how you can grow your own cut flowers for arrangements, for your
home and for friends. She will discuss using plants already in your landscape and also
planting an area specifically for cut blooms.
Cindy and Jaycee Creps started Meadow Ridge in 2003 as a perennial nursery selling
nursery stock. In 2006 the farm was expanded to grow and sell specialty cut flowers.
Flower arrangements are created using perennials, annuals, bulbs, tubers and woodies for a wide variety of flowers. These flowers are used in bouquets at the Portland Farmers Markets each Saturday morning, in wedding flowers for local couples and arrangements for home delivery.
All are welcome at our March 17th meeting at NOON, Grace Episcopal Church, Bath, ME.
